‘Project Trans-Plant’ – by Ros

July 13

InterACTion group member Ros is a keen gardener with very green fingers.

Over our zoom sessions she would tell the group about the plants she had been growing and talked about how the time she had spent in her garden growing things, had helped to keep her busy and feeling positive during the lockdowns.

Over the weeks, seeing Ros’ efforts and experiments in growing from seeds. cuttings and even food scraps became a real highlight for the group.

Ros has been so successful with her growing that a little while ago she mentioned that she was struggling to find space for all what she had grown, and asked if anyone would like a plant. Lots of people wanted a plant, the issue was how the plants would be transported to people who wanted them… and that’s when ‘Project Trans-plant’ was born.

We made a short film of Ros talking us through the plants she was donating before transporting them to their new homes or somewhere where they could be reached more easily – some of their new owners are pictured towards the end of this short film, looking very happy with their new, green, house mates.
