Singers of Mind: Enfield & Barnet

Face Front are thrilled to host singers from ‘Mind’ in Enfield & Barnet’s online ‘Singing Skills Course’ as they present some of the songs they have been working on this term – FANASTIC WORK!

‘Singing Skills’ and other workshops are courses are organised through The Wellbeing Service of Mind in Enfield & Barnet.

The Wellbeing Service aims to provide workshops and courses to help people’s mental wellbeing (eg Mindfulness for Stress Reduction workshops) and provide routes to positively engage in society (eg Self Esteem and Effective Communication courses).

All workshops and courses are FREE, and funded by Barnet & Southgate College

How can I access this service?

Self referrals or referrals can be made. Please ask for details from martinedrake@mindeb.org.uk or call 0208 906 7507 (leave a message with your telephone number and you will receive a call back as soon as possible).

PREVIOUS ONLINE COURSES HAVE INCLUDED:

Art Course (10 weeks). People of all levels learn how to develop skills and express themselves using art techniques. Tues 2-4pm and 6-8pm.

Effective Communication (10 weeks).
How to verbally communicate with confidence in different situations. Weds 2-4pm.

Gardening with Nature (10 weeks).
How to sow and grow plants, and work with nature at the same time. Mon 10.30am-12.30pm.

Hand Sewing (10 weeks).
Learn basic techniques and stitches to create a range of items for the home. Suitable for beginners. Tues 11am-1pm.

Jewellery Making (10 weeks).

Learn a range of techniques to make items for yourself and as gifts. Suitable for beginners. Fri 11am-1pm.

Performance Skills (10 weeks).
Learn a range of techniques, and build confidence in performing. Weds 6-8pm.

Personal Development (10 weeks).
To help you achieve your full potential, and build confidence to manage life’s challenges. Fri 11am-1pm.

Self Esteem (10 weeks).
To understand and develop skills of self esteem. Weds 11am-1pm.

Singing Skills (10 weeks).
Learn a range of techniques, and build confidence in singing. Mon 6-8pm.

Workability (10 weeks).
To understand and develop skills for work and volunteering. Thurs 2-4pm.
