New Board Members

Seeking New Board Members with experience in Fundraising, Business and Legal.

Face Front Inclusive Theatre is looking for innovative and dedicated volunteers who would like to join our current Board of Trustees to be collectively responsible for ensuring good governance of our company.

New Trustees must be aged 18 years or older and, although not essential, previous experience as a Trustee is desirable.

Inclusion is foremost in our artistic vision and we create original, multi-layered theatre with a company of disabled and non-disabled artists.

We produce entertaining and challenging performances and workshops, which are carefully crafted to be accessible to all, including people with physical, sensory and learning impairments.

We work in regional theatres, schools and community venues. Our artists are all experienced professionals.

We are actively seeking people with a passion for participatory arts, have a sense of creativity, energy and time to commit!

We are keen to recruit people with specific skills and experience in:

  • Business
  • Legal
  • Fundraising

Trustees are required to attend quarterly Board Meetings (usually evenings), occasionally attend workshops and performances and be available either by telephone or email between meetings to assist with decision-making.

Training opportunities are also available. Face Front Trustees are legally responsible for overseeing financial management and ensuring that the company complies with Charity and Company Law.

Our meetings always come with a warm welcome and refreshments. Combining guidance with experience and knowledge, Trustees can help Face Front to continue developing to become a high profile Inclusive Theatre Company within the Arts.

Face Front welcomes applications from people who are currently under-represented particularly in terms of ethnic and disability diversity.
