What they Say
‘It’s been a game changer, she feels like she is part of something, that she belongs somewhere, that she is needed. Her memory is normally awful, but she is really good at learning lines for Blue Sky. On the day she gets a bit anxious but she’s got it and she knows them and it boosts her confidence as she feels like she is successful at something.”
Parent of disabled participant
“Blue Sky Actors is family that comes together every Saturday. It builds my confidence seeing my friends every Saturday and creating awesome shows!”
Disabled participant
“Blue Sky Actors means friendship because as soon as you join the group you’re bound to make a friend even if you don’t have the confidence for it. My confidence has boosted even higher since I joined.”
Disabled participant
“Blue Sky is all about the people. We enjoy doing plays, games and activities together. My favourite thing about Blue Sky is the way everyone supports each other and boosts our confidence by building our acting skills. I’ve made lots of friends including staff. Blue sky is one of the best performing groups in east London, I hope it can continue forever.”
