Face Front Welcomes Vaibhav to our Board of Trustees

Face Front is delighted to announce the appointment of Vaibhav Adlakha to its Board of Trustees. As a member of the Blue Sky Actors and an experienced actor, Vaibhav brings a lot of passion, creativity and knowledge.

“My passion for theatre began in high school studying theatre as part of the International Baccalaureate program offered at the American School of The Hague. Even at that time, I already understood the influence theatre may have to facilitate change. I wanted to explore my passion for acting and writing further but felt that my disability would be a barrier, even though my teachers said anything was possible. I did not see anyone like me in the profession so I chose a different career path. But the acting bug never went away and through Face Front I have rediscovered my desire. I hope that I am able to bridge the gap for anyone else and change perceptions to demonstrate that the arts is indeed for all. Only having open minds will lead to open doors and new opportunities.”
