Remembering Judy Hepburn
Everyone at Face Front has been very saddened by the news that one of our patrons; the lovely Judy Hepburn, died recently. Judy was an incredibly gifted creative – achieving great success as an actor, director and writer across several mediums.
She began her relationship with Face Front in 2015 when she joined as a trustee and offered guidance to the company. Following on from her exit as a trustee in 2019, she became a much-loved patron and continued to show her support in championing the work of Face Front.
Trustee Jac Shreeves-Lee said:
She was a truly beautiful woman with such style, vitality, warmth and talent. Judy a had a zest for life. We went salsa dancing together and wow, Judy had some moves. She was queen of the salsa dance floor! So very sad that dear Judy has gone, so many people loved her and will miss her dearly
Trustee Chair Roger Cowe said:
Judy was a valuable Face Front trustee before becoming a patron. She brought wide experience, excellent insights and understanding of her role and the part she could play in helping Face Front to develop. She was always thoughtful and considerate and a pleasure to work with.
Artistic Director Ray Downing said:
Judy was such a support to Face Front over the years, first as a trustee and then later as a patron – but always as a friend. We will be forever grateful for her encouragement, warmth and kindness.
