DDM Participants Achieve Bronze Arts Awards

Face Front is delighted to announce that two participants from our DDM youth group have achieved their Bronze Arts Awards. Face Front’s CEO said..

“We are incredibly proud of DDM members L and I for completing their Arts Award folders with such passion and care. They are clearly talented artists today, with great potential as future leaders.”

Arts Award is a nationally recognised creative qualification for children and young people. Delivered by Trinity College London in association with Arts Council England, it supports young people to develop as artists and arts leaders by exploring creative disciplines such as fashion, digital art, drama, music and poetry.

Bronze Arts Award is divided into four sections:

  • Part A: Explore the arts as a participant — Taking part in an art form, developing new skills and recording personal progress.
  • Part B: Explore the arts as an audience member — Attending at least one live arts event or experience and writing a review.
  • Part C: Arts inspiration — Researching the life and career of an inspiring artist or craftsperson.
  • Part D: Arts skills share — Sharing an arts skill with others through a short workshop, presentation or demonstration.

We plan to begin the Arts Award process again next term, with the aim of supporting all participants to work towards Bronze and Silver levels.
