New Trustee Leadership and Many Thanks to Roger

Face Front is pleased to announce that, following our AGM, we have a new Chair, Catrin Thomas. Catrin is a co-founder of Face Front and a champion of inclusive theatre, specialising in BSL. And, we welcome our new Deputy Chair, Chris King. Chris is a long-time supporter of our work and is a parent to a much-loved Broken Silence participant.

We are all very excited about this new chapter of Face Front and Catrin said “I am excited to be taking on the role of Chair of Face Front Inclusive Theatre with the support of Christine King as Deputy. We will have our work cut out for us following on from the inimitable Roger Crowe who has done a sterling job for many years. Face Front has been an integral part of my life for the past twenty-six years, and it definitely is “all about belonging”. It offers so much to so many with its vibrant and important work. I feel highly privileged to be taking on this role.”

New Deputy, Chris said, “I am delighted to join Catrin as Deputy Chair of Face Front. I have been a trustee for a number of years seeing first hand the amazing work they do in community theatre and supporting the people who access this.”

Catrin and Chris are taking over from Roger Cowe. Roger is stepping aside after many years of loyal and tireless support throughout some very challenging times. With his experience in finance, he was a very steady and experienced hand and we are pleased to confirm he will stay on the board as a trustee. Roger said “I have been immensely impressed what Face Front achieves with scarce resources during my hugely rewarding six years as chair. The artistic skills and professional standards are outstanding  and are matched by the work ethic and sheer ability to get things done. I am confident that Face Front will continue to thrive under the leadership of Catrin and Chris.”
