Success for DDM Graduate Chris

I joined Face Front’s DDM Drama Group in 2019 when I was 13 years old.  I looked forward to Wednesdays as I went there from school every week.

Ray and Sarah Jane were so great, they gave me the confidence I needed and also I discovered I loved acting.

I was lucky to be asked to take part in Face Front’s production called ‘It’s My Move’ which toured around London Schools during Autumn – Winter 2024. I played as a student named ‘Warren’ who is a DJ who wants to go to college. It was an amazing experience seeing that I entertained a load of kids and adults with my acting. I really enjoyed getting up pretty early to go to some schools around different parts of London.

I have now been lucky enough to be accepted by ‘Chickenshed Theatre’ onto a performing arts degree course starting this September.  It is a ‘Level 3 BTEC course.

I couldn’t have done this without the help, encouragement and support of Ray at ‘DDM’ (Dance Drama Music) in Edmonton Green.

My advice for any young person wanting to get into performing is if you want to act and succeed, try hard, show such great emotions and have confidence, at the end of the day you have done your best.
